Grand Victorian ballrooms
Blackpool Tower Ballroom
Frank Matcham’s Victorian ballroom, opened in 1899 inside the Tower Buildings of 1894, and still a working visitor attraction. Dark, ornate and tungsten-lit, so we bring fast lenses and flash; the balconies and stage give the big picture, and Tower Top at 380 ft faces west for sunset.

- Stay: No accommodation; Central Car Park FY1 5QB
- Drone: The Tower is about 0.6 km north of the airport zone; the beach and prom to the south are inside it, so the launch spot decides
