Venue
The Glass House Wedding Photographer
Staining, three miles from Blackpool. A glasshouse full of light, a licensed gazebo in the garden, and views towards the Pennines.

Why we love photographing here
We’ve photographed couples at The Glass House [N] times and flown the drone over the estate twice. It is one big, bright room, so the light does most of the work: the ceremony, the breakfast and the dancing all happen under the same timber beams, divided by mirrored bi-fold doors.
Because everything is in one place, nobody loses twenty minutes walking between rooms. That gives us more time for the people, and it makes Same-Day Prints easy if you add them: one of us sets up a small print station in the lodge CONFIRM location during drinks and the grandparents have their folders by the time the starters arrive.
This page needs at least 600 unique words before it goes live, and real wedding photography from this venue. We currently have couple portraits and drone footage only. CONFIRM

Light and timing
The glasshouse is bright all day, so we watch for reflections and harsh midday sun and plan couple portraits for the hour before sunset on the terrace. On wet days the whole plan moves indoors without losing anything: the glass walls keep the garden in the frame.
Drone
Flying is possible here. The Glass House is about 1 km outside the Blackpool Airport zone. We still check Drone Assist on the day, keep 50 m from guests, and refund the drone if weather stops us. Add the flyover for £149 with photography.

Can you fly a drone at our venue?
Often, but the Fylde has more restricted airspace than most places. Blackpool Airport, BAE Warton and the Springfields site all limit flying. For example, Ribby Hall and The Villa need permission, and Bartle Hall is no-fly. We check your venue when you book, apply for any permission ourselves, and refund the drone if the weather or permission stops us.
Do you really bring two photographers to every wedding?
Yes. It’s Lee and Dom, every time.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel within 10 miles of our base (FY6) is free. After that it’s 50p a mile, and we travel up to 60 miles.
How do we book?
Check your date, choose a package and pay a £100 deposit online. We hold a date for 7 days while you decide.
Getting married at The Glass House?
We reply within 24 hours. If it’s quicker to talk, we’re on WhatsApp and the phone most days.
