From £399 for four hours. A Half Day covers an awards dinner or a half-day conference; a Full Day covers a conference with an evening dinner. For a two-day event, or a photographer plus a headshot station running at the same time, ask us for a quote.

How it works

How we photograph a corporate event in Lancashire

Blackpool has the rooms for this. The Winter Gardens takes everything from a trade show in the Olympia to a black-tie dinner in the Empress Ballroom, the Imperial has hosted party conferences,. Further out, Ribby Hall, Stanley House near Blackburn, Mitton Hall in the Ribble Valley and Lancaster House by the university host the awards nights and the company away days. We’ll work in any of them, and in your own offices and warehouses too.

Before the day, send us the running order and a shot list, even if it’s three lines in an email. We want to know who the sponsors are, which logos need to be in shot, who the VIPs are and whether there’s a cheque presentation. On the day Dom arrives an hour before the doors open and photographs the empty room, the table settings and the branding while it’s still perfect.

During the sessions we work from the sides and the back with long lenses and no flash. For awards we stand to the side of the stage with the presenter, and each winner gets the handshake and then a second photo, square to the camera, holding the award and looking at us.

If you want a headshot station, we set up a backdrop and lights in a side room or a corner of the foyer. Delegates pop in between sessions, two minutes each. More on team headshots.

Fast turnaround and a commercial licence

We edit a short set on a laptop during the event, usually ten to twenty images, and send them over before we leave. The full gallery is hand-edited and follows within 6 weeks, or sooner if you have a press or newsletter deadline. Tell us the date and we’ll work to it.

Corporate bookings come with a commercial licence rather than our usual personal-use one. Use them on your website, social feeds, press releases and internal comms, for as long as you like. We keep the copyright and the right to show the work in our own portfolio, unless the event is confidential, in which case tell us and we won’t.

We cover Blackpool, Preston, Lancaster, Blackburn, Burnley and the rest of Lancashire. Travel is free within 10 miles of Poulton-le-Fylde and 50p a mile after that.

Same-Day Prints

A print for every winner.

Questions

How do we book?

Check your date, choose a package and pay a £100 deposit online. We hold a date for 7 days while you decide.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel within 10 miles of our base (FY6) is free. After that it’s 50p a mile, and we travel up to 60 miles.

Are you insured?

Yes. We hold public liability insurance and carry backup cameras and cards. Venues that ask for a certificate get one.

Can we use the photos for marketing?

Yes. Corporate bookings include a commercial licence, so you can use the images on your website, social media, press releases and printed material for as long as you need. We keep the copyright and may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

How quickly do we get the images?

A short edited set the same day, sent before we leave, for social media. The full gallery follows within 6 weeks, or sooner if you tell us your deadline when you book.

Can you invoice the company and work with a purchase order?

Yes. We invoice Snap The Day Ltd’s details to your accounts team and can quote your PO number. The deposit holds the date and the balance is due 14 days before the event.
