Prices and booking
How much does a wedding photographer cost in Lancashire?
Most charge £1,200–£1,700 for a full day with one photographer. Ours is £1,049 Monday to Thursday or £1,295 at weekends, with two photographers included.
Do you really bring two photographers to every wedding?
Yes. It’s Lee and Dom, every time.
How do we book?
Check your date, choose a package and pay a £100 deposit online. We hold a date for 7 days while you decide.
When is the balance due?
14 days before your wedding.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel within 10 miles of our base (FY6) is free. After that it’s 50p a mile, and we travel up to 60 miles.
Can we have just the ceremony?
Yes. Micro & Register Office is one of us for 2 hours on a weekday, from £299. Right for the register office, the Wedding Chapel and small hotel weddings.
Do you do engagement shoots?
Yes, as an hour on location before the wedding, usually somewhere on the coast or at your venue. Ask when you enquire and we’ll add it to your quote.
On the day
Can you fly a drone at our venue?
Often, but the Fylde has more restricted airspace than most places. Blackpool Airport, BAE Warton and the Springfields site all limit flying. For example, Ribby Hall and The Villa need permission, and Bartle Hall is no-fly. We check your venue when you book, apply for any permission ourselves, and refund the drone if the weather or permission stops us.
What happens if one of you is ill?
The other one still shoots your day, and we bring in a photographer we’ve worked with so there are still two of us. If we couldn’t cover the day at all, which has never happened, you’d get everything back.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold public liability insurance and carry backup cameras and cards. Venues that ask for a certificate get one.
Do you photograph same-sex weddings and every kind of celebration?
Of course.
If we add Same-Day Prints, does it take a photographer away?
For about an hour in total, at planned quiet moments. The other of us keeps shooting.
Afterwards
When do we get our photos?
A sneak peek within 48 hours, and the full gallery within six weeks.
Are the prints the same as our gallery images?
They’re edited the same way. Your full gallery follows within six weeks with every image.
